Hi! I’m Helen….

I’m a Lomi Lomi massage practitioner and I’m passionate about supporting others to come home to their body and experience greater well-being and vitality through therapeutic touch and heart-centered presence.

I was first introduced to Hawaiian Lomi Lomi bodywork as a client almost 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with its nurturing, open-hearted and holistic qualities. For me, it wasn’t just a massage (and trust me, I’ve been on a lot of massage tables!), it was a deeply rejuvenating and sacred experience for body and spirit. It felt like I’d stumbled upon a most precious gift.

At the time, I was a regular runner and cyclist and found that Lomi Lomi offered me the same muscle tension relief as traditional Sports Massage, but with added benefits. It revitalised me from the inside out, rejuvenating my mind, body and spirit.

Being here now practicing Lomi Lomi and sharing its healing benefits with others has been one of the most unexpected and beautiful twists in my life journey thus far. I’m so grateful to the extraordinary teachers and wisdom holders who made it possible.

I’ve spent most of my working life in health and education. In addition to Lomi Lomi, I have qualifications in counselling and spiritual care. Although I do not practice these modalities anymore, they have given me an important grounding in supporting people through life transitions with trauma-informed sensitivity. 

I practice from my home studio in Newcastle NSW and I'm fortunate to be a part of the amazing team at Holding Space for Healing at Nelson Bay. I’m dedicated to holding a nurturing, judgment-free space where clients feel safe to let go, connect inwards, and experience their luminous essence.
